I stumbled on these absolutely beautiful paintings by Nina Nolte and couldn’t resist sharing them, they are so colorful and so realistic! I also love that these women are decked with jewels, big shades, turbans, and cocktails. Who wouldn’t want to lounge by a pool looking like that! Not only that, but I love the title of the paintings, “The Best Is Yet To Come”. Isn’t that the truth! I can’t help but constantly remind myself that even better things are to come. So yeah, I would love one of these paintings…..for just that, knowing someday I will be lounging poolside, with my big shades, delicious cocktails, and relaxing with my girlfriends. Until then, I’ll be enjoying the $4 bottle of wine I just bought. Enjoy and have a lovely week!

We can’t hide that we’re huge Jonathan Adler fans, so we are thrilled to see this partnership with J.C. Penney! Seeing affordable price tags on these darling designs makes our day.
My heart aches for Boston and all those affected by this senseless and shocking event. I was lucky to hear that a very dear friend of mine made it out ok, as she and her friends were watching the marathon.
It is easy to lose hope in times like these, when there is no answer that could possibly rationalize such an event or who the person/s could be to do something like this?! It is a struggle for everyone, it is easier to look at the darkness and despair of the situation but I really think that Patton Oswalt said it best, and Fred Rogers years before. It is so important to remember - especially in times like these - that the good outnumber the hateful, the violent, the racist and the intolerant, and to resolve to continue to stand with them, now and forever.
Stay strong Boston. Spread love today!
Are these not the most beautiful watercolor renderings you've ever seen?! Of course they are because they are from Hermès La Maison home line. As if Hermès wasn't enough to swoon over with their bags, scarves, watches, etc; they now have furniture, rugs, textiles and wall coverings. Oh my, I can only imagine the price tags...
